Online Return Policy

Industry Leading 60 Day Return Policy

All like-new (uninstalled in original packaging) merchandise may be returned for a full store credit or refund to original form of payment less shipping and handling within 60 days of pickup or delivery. All returns must be in as-new condition, properly packaged in original packaging with all parts and manuals also properly packaged. Any missing parts or damaged packaging will be subject to a $50 service fee. Click RMA Request Form to start our hassle-free return process.

Defective & Damaged Items

Damaged items will be replaced at no charge upon proper notification within 60 days of receipt of items. Please inspect all products within 24 hours, if any items are damaged or missing parts please visit our Parts Request Form. The manufacturer will send replacement parts directly to you or we will arrange for an in store exchange if necessary. *Please note we may request you to send us a picture of the damaged / defective item.

Items NOT Eligible For Returns

Recessed lighting, under cabinet lighting, track lighting and landscape lighting including all components or accessories are all NOT eligible for return or exchange.

Free Staging

Building a new home? Major renovation project? We will stage your order! We clearly label each carton with the proper room location for your contractor and hold your order for up to 90 days for free! No more worrying about last-minute out of stock merchandise and discontinued products.  Lock in our great prices today, and your order will be ready when you need it*.

*We will store your order in our distribution center for up to 90 days at no charge to you. After 90 days, a monthly storage fee of 2% of the order total, payable in advance will be applied.

Free In Store Pick-Up

All orders can always be picked up in a local showroom for no extra charge. You should receive an email notification once your order is complete and ready for pick-up. Make sure to contact your local showroom to verify your order is ready to be picked up if you have not received notification. Call ahead to have your order ready and waiting for your same-day arrival.

Shipping & Handling

Light ‘N Leisure delivers all local orders complete at no charge, local is considered a 20 mile radius, minimum $100 order amount. Orders outside of our local delivery area are subject to additional delivery charges based on any additional restrictions or terms of your order. Most orders are shipped within three business days by the factory and will be delivered one to ten business days after shipment depending on your location. Orders for multiple items placed at the same time may arrive at different times. “Over size” and common carrier truck shipments will incur additional shipping charges. You will be notified of any additional charges which must be collected prior to the shipment of your order. Shipping charges incurred due to incorrect address, zip code, or the refusal of an item will be charged back to the customer. We cannot ship to P.O. Box locations.

Large Orders, Custom Orders

Due to the nature of lighting some items can not be shipped UPS or FedEx ground. In this instance common carrier truckers are a dependable and economical way to deliver your product in two to three weeks. Deliveries are made Mon. – Fri. daytime hours to curbside or driveway only. If you need lift gate or other special delivery services,contact us at customerservice@lightnleisure.com or 978-762-7510. A representative from the common carrier trucking company will contact you to arrange a delivery appointment. Extra charges may apply to common carrier truck shipments and you will be notified of these prior to shipping. Commercial/Contractor/Large Job orders over $2,500, or more than six units are subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned for any reason other than manufacturing defect. We recommend ordering a sample product prior to placing your main order if you are unfamiliar with the product. We reserve the right to change or modify this clause on a case by case basis.

Light ‘n Leisure “The Purple Buildings” proudly stands behind the products we sell. We offer a 60 day guarantee on every item we carry.

This guarantee does not cover defects, including breakage or malfunctions, caused by mishandling or use of the product in ways other than specified by the manufacturer. Light bulbs included with product are not covered by any guarantee or warranty. Unless specifically noted, the lighting, furniture and other products sold are for residential use only, and is not designed, manufactured, or recommended for use in a commercial or non-residential setting.

After our 60 day guarantee has expired, all warranties, expressed or implied, must go through the manufacturer.

Please retain a copy of your sales receipt, as well as any warranty information provided by the manufacturer in the original packaging.
